His strong vision to deliver quality construction project management led him to establish Design Coordinates, Inc. in 1978
DCI's history spans over four decades of excellent track record and trusted partnerships with clients from different industries. A lot have changed since DCI's inception in 1978, but we have always remained faithful to the vision, mission, core values, and quality of service that our founder championed over many years.
Founded by Architect Oscar S. Salvacion, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas. In his batch, he placed No. 9 in the licensure examination for architects. Soon after passing the board exam, he worked for a petroleum company in Tokyo, Japan.
The breadth and depth of his experience in the industry, both local and overseas, propelled DCI to become the leading Construction Project Manager in the country. Today, his enduring legacy remains to be the driving force in DCI's continuing commitment to provide the highest standards in Construction Project Management.
DCI was established to address the need for professional Construction Project Managers and Construction Project Management in the Philippines.
After his untimely demise in 2011, the pioneer, who built a name synonymous to excellence and quality, had gone, but his heritage lives on. From a small, humble company of around 30 employees in the '70s, DCI has now become a robust company with more than 400 professionals
who all embody the values of Discipline, Cooperation, and Integrity.

DCI’s system and approach in managing projects, aligned with the project life cycle, is divided to process groups: Initiating (Start), Planning (Plan), Executing (Do), Monitoring and Controlling (Check and Act) and Closing (End), as adapted in PMBok’s Project Management Framework.
