One of the early engagement of SMDC with DCI, as Construction Project Manager, in condominium developments in 2008 was the SM Sea Residences, which is also located in the emerging progress in the Mall of Asia (MOA) Complex.
Fort Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City
From 2001 to 2009, Pacific Plaza Towers, a high-end residential condominium, was the known tallest twin-tower in the country. Integral to its design, DCI was one of the parties involved in assuring quality of works through robust inspections and tests; with the concrete structure meeting the 10,000psi strength specifications, which was the first to be constructed locally. Standing tall with 52-storeys, to-date, Pacific Plaza Towers is still recognized as one of the luxurious condominiums in BGC.
Ayala Avenue, Makati City
The first amongst the series of condominiums built by the developers (Metro Pacific Corp.), this once stood as the tallest skyscraper in Makati, which was completed in the early 1990’s. With the start of construction boom in that era, with a lot of spurring developments in Makati City, particularly along Ayala Ave., DCI had pioneered the management of this premium project which is located in one of the sought-after streets in the Makati Central Business District.
Northgate Cyberzone, Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
Within Filinvest City’s Northgate Cyberzone in Alabang, The Filinvest Alabang Office was managed by DCI which was originally built to house the Filinvest Offices in 2010. This is just one of the group of buildings-complex that will cater to the demand of office buildings in Alabang (Muntinlupa).
Ayala Avenue corner H.V. Dela Costa Street, Makati City
Another well-known skyscraper-office building in Ayala Ave., Makati City, is the GT Tower International, where DCI worked with renown architect Kohn Pedersen Fox & Assoc. (KPFA) and GFormoso & Partners. With 217 meters towering height, this project was completed in 2000, which was also once considered the tallest building in Makati.
Ayala Avenue, Makati City
DCI was able to engage further projects with the construction developments along Ayala Avenue. One of the iconic office buildings of SOM and LVLocsin & Partners that was developed then was the Tower One and Exchange Plaza, a 35-storey building (with 4-basement levels) by Ayala Land, Inc., which was finally completed in 1996. DCI was privileged to be involved in managing this prestigious project, which used contemporary materials and technology, one apparent of which is the Unitized Curtain Wall system of the building, which may still be comparable with today’s buildings after its almost of 2-decades of existence.
Block 17 Mall Of Asia Complex, Pasay City
Working with the international firm Arquitectonica and Architect Felix Lim, DCI was commissioned as the Construction Project Manager and QS Consultant for this office building-complex by SM, which is one of the early developments in the Mall of Asia (MOA) Complex, with One-Ecom and Two-Ecom completed last 2008 and 2010, respectively.
2nd & 3rd level Central Building, Greenfield District, Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong City
Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City
DCI’s engagement to one of the latest landmarks in Araneta Center, a thriving developing business district in Quezon City, a PEZA certified building – the Gateway Tower, is a 30-storey skyscraper built and completed last 2013, adjacent to the famed and awardwinning Gateway Mall.
Bagong Nayong Pilipino Complex, Parañaque City
One of DCI’s illustrious project, Solaire Resort & Casino (formerly known as Solaire Manila) in the Entertainment City complex along the Bay City (Paranaque) complex, is the first of 4-casino resorts to open in the area – Phase 1 opened last 2013 and Phase 1A last quarter 2014. Solaire is currently the tallest hotel in the Manila Bay area outside the City of Manila. DCI has worked with expats for this project; architect and designer Paul Steelman of Las Vegas-based Steelman Partners.
Aseana Avenue corner Roxas Boulevard, Paranaque City
Similar to its lustrous development in the area, DCI was again engaged to the second mega casino for Entertainment City near Manila Bay -- a gaming hub being developed by the Philippines to compete with Las Vegas and Macau – the City of Dreams Manila. This casino and resort hotel operated this December 2014.
Ayala Center, Makati City
This part of Makati was once composed of a parking establishment and the Quad Mall in the early 90’s before it was (re) constructed to the now famous Ayala Center. With the proliferation of construction of buildings in the metropolis, the Ayala Center came to be one of the well-known establishments in Makati – where DCI took part as the Construction Project Managers for Glorietta Mall and Oakwood towers. The project was successfully completed in 2001, with a handful of further expansions and developments long after.
